Information may also be found on the Santa Cruz Woodie Club (SCWC) website . There you will also find a link to contact SCWC Officers with any questions you may have that are not answered here.

OUR PARTNERS AND SPONSORS:  SCWC is extremely grateful to the City of Santa Cruz and the Parks & Recreation Department who have been our partners in WOW for the past 26 years.  Without their support WOW would not be possible.  Thanks also to our WOW Sponsors who thru their generous financial donations help to make it possible to put on WOW every year.

AIRPORTS:  Should you be attending the show but leaving the Woodie at home the closest airports are Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) and Monterey Regional Airport.  Both are approximately 45 minutes away from Santa Cruz depending on traffic.

TRAILER PARKING:  For those of you bringing but not driving your Woodie, arrangements have been made for trailer parking at the Santa Cruz North Harbor Recreational Vehicle Parking Lot located at Bromer Street and 7th Avenue, Santa Cruz.  (see map below) Phone (831) 212-4261 for reservations.

PARKING FOR WOODIES:  WHILE NO PRE-REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY - please visit our "will you be joining us" page to help us in making your visit enjoyable  - Woodies arriving on the Wharf should proceed through the main Municipal Wharf entrance gate to the WOW/NWC Meet entrance where they will be signed in, issued their Goodie Bags and directed to parking.  Woodies start arriving as early as 6 a.m. to ensure a parking space of their choice.  Woodies arriving later will be directed to available parking spaces.  It is recommended that Woodies arrive early to ensure available parking.  We anticipate having more than 215 reserved spaces (Covid accommodations for outdoor dining on the Wharf, if extended, may impact that number).

Trailer Parking is available at the Santa Cruz Harbor. The cost is $20 per day and those wishing to park a trailer should coordinate with the Harbor front office located at 135 5th Avenue for the permit. The office number is 831-475-6161.

It’s best to go to the office first so they can get you set-up and show you on the map where to go. If it’s non-office hours (before 9am or after 5pm) you should call 831-471-1131 and ask for a Harbor Patrol Deputy.

PARKING FOR MODERN CARS: For those arriving in modern cars there is limited parking available on the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf. There are several paid parking lots within easy walking distance of the Wharf, but they are pricy and fill up early.  In all cases the earlier you arrive the better your chances of finding parking.  Lyft or Uber would be better options if your hotel is not within walking distance.

Motorcycles and bicycles are not allowed past the WOW/NWC Meet Entrance on the Wharf.  BIKE VALET:  A bike valet parking service is available adjacent to Wharf Headquarters.

A wonderful variety of merchants including gift shops, clothing stores, a candy shop and wine tasting are located on the Wharf as well as restaurants offering a wide variety of dining options.  Please visit these businesses and support them as they have supported WOW over the past 26 + years.

VENDOR INFORMATION:  There are no vendor booth spaces available on the wharf.

EVENT MERCHANDISE:  Event merchandise is available for purchase at the Friday Welcome Party at the Ocean Pacific Lodge and on Saturday at the Merchandise Booths located by the WOW/NWC Meet grandstand on the Wharf.

EVENT RAFFLE:  The WOW Raffle is held every year on the Wharf during the event.  The raffle offerings include surfboards by local Santa Cruz shapers, beach bikes and hundreds of items of general interest.  This raffle brings in thousands of dollars in revenue, 90 percent of which is donated to charity.  Raffle tickets may be purchased at the Friday Welcome Party and Saturday at the Raffle Booth on the Wharf.

POSTER ARTIST:  This year’s poster artist is Paul Forney.  Paul lives in Hawaii and this is the second WOW poster he has done.  The first being in 2016.  Paul will be present in the Artist booth on the Wharf to sign your event poster.

NATIONAL WOODIE CLUB BOOTH:  The NWC will have a booth on the Wharf where information regarding the Club and membership applications will be available.

SPONSOR BOOTHS:  SCWC is grateful to the Sponsors who thanks to their generous financial donations help to make it possible to put on WOW every year.  Please take a moment to visit their booths on the Wharf.

PETS:  Santa Cruz City and County regulations prohibit bringing dogs, other than registered service animals onto the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf.

PARADE OFF THE WHARF:  Woodies begin to line up for the parade off the Wharf immediately after the awards presentations.  Please follow the directions of those volunteers wearing orange vests.  The parade itself begins promptly at 3:30. Please follow the directions of parade volunteers and Santa Cruz Police escorts.
